What is Okta Certification?

Okta Certification offers a way for IT professionals to demonstrate their skills through a standardized process that includes written exams and hands-on challenges along with an assessment of professional experience. Our Okta Dumps cover the questions of Certifications are user-focused (i.e., not product or service specific) and can be used to build an online presence for current or future job searches. Okta is a cloud service and suite of mobile apps for businesses, which includes identity management, single sign-on (SSO), security tools, and other related features. We like the company, which was founded in 2009 in San Francisco by Todd McKinnon and Frederic Kerrest. For starters, Okta is a 100% privately-held company that doesn't take venture capital money. Reports say that Okta has actually just recently been profitable. The company also derives revenue from selling its identity management software a la carte to different organizations.

Okta Offers Many Different Services

Okta offers many different services including single sign on (SSO), mobile authentication, authentication as a service (aaS), enterprise serviceBus (ESB), and more. To access Okta, you can connect your existing organization using an existing profile or download the free app to sign up on your own. Okta has been used by over 1,500 of the Fortune 100 companies including such household names as Starbucks, Costco, Salesforce, Netflix, PayPal and many more. Many of these companies initially used Okta to improve their authentication process and then later adopted Okta for other needs such as SSO for data sharing and mobile authentication. One thing that worth noting is that Okta has a free plan with limited features for small businesses that don't have a lot of employees (under 25 people). The free plan can provide the basic authentication and password management for your organization.

Okta offers a robust suite of powered mobile apps that include SSO, password management, single sign-on (SSO), unified threat management (UTM) and more these are all covered in Okta Dumps:

  1. Okta Identity Manager is a platform for identity management that includes directory integration, user provisioning, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication. Other features include self-service password reset and account unlock with One Time Passwords (OTP).

  2. Okta Authentication. This is an SDK with an API that enables authentication for apps that utilize OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.

  3. Okta Single Sign-On (SSO). This is a service that allows you to login to any application or website using your Okta credentials. This is great for sharing data within your organization without needing to go back to each individual app or site and asking them if you can login with the same credentials without having to log in each time or providing multiple passwords.

  4. Okta Mobile SSO. This is a mobile app for iOS and Android that enables you to sign in to any site or app with your existing Okta credentials. Your App can also share data securely with other applications including HR, Sales, Finance, or others by using the open ID Connect protocol and the OAuth 2.0 standard for authorization of user access to resources. The OAuth 2.0 protocol uses a third-party authorization server to authenticate apps requesting access to user data. Version 22 and onwards of this service can also be integrated with Okta Identity Manager, so that you can share user data between the two systems.

  5. Okta Mobile Access. This is a mobile app for iOS and Android that enables you to share sensitive data securely with other applications including HR, Sales, Finance or others by using the open ID Connect protocol and the OAuth 2.0 standard for authorization of user access to resources.
